Introduction

The Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) and The Centre for Educational Leadership (CEL), University of Hong Kong were commissioned by the EMB in December 2004 on the Provision of Consultancy and Training Service: Course Design and Piloting of "e-Leadership" Training for School Principals.

This program is designed to support school principals in building knowledge, skills and understanding of on the potential impact of ICT in supporting learning and teaching and the key issues.

The course took an action learning orientation. Principals were required to develop strategic school development plans for integrating ICT use in their schools for the next academic year and beyond.
